Karzai: America has been involved in big corruption

Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, said that a large part of the corruption in Afghanistan was done by the Americans.“I take full responsibility for corruption and bribery in providing services in Afghanistan. But the big contracts, the big corruption of hundreds of millions of dollars, were clearly related to America.” Karzai stated.

Karzai also added that he had made the right decision to stay in the country even after the Taliban takeover in August 2021.
