Afghan Students Attacked in India During Prayer

Reports from Indian media outlets have highlighted a violent incident involving a group of unidentified individuals attacking foreign students with knives and stones.

The victims, hailing from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, several African nations, and Central Asian countries, were targeted within the campus of Gujarat University’s dormitory during the Taraweeh prayer.

According to the Indian Express, the assault resulted in at least five students sustaining injuries. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of foreign students in the region.
