Zalmai Rassoul
– Born on 11 October 1943, Kabul;
– Completed his first and second education in Esteghlal high school, left Kabul to Paris to continue his education to study on a scholarship at the Paris Medical School and received his M.D.;
– Speaks Dari, Pashto, English, French and Italian languages and knows Arabic;
– Has recorded 30 scientific works in European and American Media;
– The director of the Secretariat of Mohammad Zaher Shah, the former King of Afghanistan;
– Worked as doctor in Paris Heart Disease Research institute and the doctor of Saudi Arabia Army;
– Minister of Civil Aviation in presidency of Hamid Karzai and unanimously approved by the Cabinet in March 2002 and helped to omit the Ariana Afghan Airlines from the international Aviation Community black list;
– Had key role in bringing peace in Afghanistan and foreign policy acted as the chief of Security council for seven years;
– Appointed as the Afghanistan Foreign Minister on 2010 and within three years signed strategies cooperation plans with US, India and Germany;
– Resigned as Minister of Foreign Affairs to be candidate for the Afghanistan presidential election on 2014 but hit the third place;
