​Deep Regret Following Medina Tragedy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban government expressed sympathy to the families of the deceased and injured Indian pilgrims in a traffic accident in Saudi Arabia in an official message on Tuesday (27 Aqrab). Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban group, wrote on his X page that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban Emirate expresses its deep regret regarding the driving incident in Medina, in which nearly 42 Indian Umrah pilgrims were martyred and numerous others were injured.

This fatal accident occurred yesterday on the highway between Mecca and Medina and resulted in the deaths of 45 Indian pilgrims. The spokesperson for the Taliban Ministry of Foreign Affairs continued his message by expressing his condolences to the Government of India and the families of the victims of this tragedy and added: We express our condolences and sympathy to the Government of India and the families of the victims of this tragedy, we pray for a swift recovery for the injured, and we ask Almighty God to place the martyrs in the highest ranks of paradise.
