The senior spokesperson for Iran’s armed forces has emphasized the unwavering commitment to the path of resistance, describing the current U.S. strategy as a tactful retreat from conflict. Simultaneously, international sources, including China and Russia, estimate the recent U.S. casualty figures to be nearly 800 killed and over 2,800 wounded.
In his latest remarks regarding the regional developments, the senior military official of the Islamic Republic of Iran reaffirmed Tehran’s firm stance against external threats. He stated that Iran’s armed forces, guided by the roadmap provided by their leadership, will continue to confront aggressors with unprecedented strength, asserting that there will be no retreat or hesitation in this endeavor. He analyzed the current situation of the U.S. military in the region, expressing that the principal concern for Washington officials today is how to find a way to withdraw gracefully from the conflict. He noted that despite the rhetoric and media threats, the U.S. lacks the capability to stand firm against the resilience of the resistance front. According to him, the continuous physical presence of foreign troops in the area will only lead to escalating financial and human losses for them.
The senior military spokesperson pointed to the extensive efforts by the U.S. and Israel to distort realities through cognitive warfare, emphasizing that a severe news blackout has been imposed on American bases. Nevertheless, field evidence indicates significant strikes against the military apparatus of the adversary. He added that the dispersion of U.S. forces across multiple bases and media restrictions have hindered the transparent dissemination of news, but intelligence assessments highlight a considerably high casualty rate among the invading troops.
In this context, reports from Chinese and Russian intelligence and media have unveiled more precise dimensions of this failure. According to this data, the number of U.S. soldiers killed in recent engagements has reached 792, with an additional 2,875 wounded. This shocking figure, which starkly contrasts the official narrative from the White House, underscores the depth of vulnerability faced by the U.S. military against the targeted and precise attacks from local defenders in the region. Political observers believe that the revelation of these numbers could significantly heighten domestic pressure within the U.S. for a quicker withdrawal from the area.
