Debihullah Mujahid, the senior spokesperson for the Taliban government, responded to the UN Security Council’s sanctions monitoring team report, emphasizing that Afghanistan does not host any foreign armed groups.

In his statement, Mujahid noted that the groups mentioned in the report have no ties whatsoever to Afghanistan. He cited his sources, declaring: “The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan operates from Pakistan and has no connection to Afghanistan.”
