Da Afghanistan Breshna company of the Taliban announced significant progress in the reconstruction of the imported power transmission line from Uzbekistan. The media office of this company announced on Monday (October 20) that technical and operational teams, after three days of continuous work, are now completing the reconnection of this transmission line.
According to Da Afghanistan Breshna\’s announcement, the cutting of the power line on the route across the Amu River was the main reason for the blackout in eleven provinces including Kabul. The announcement stated: This complex technical work was difficult due to the line passing through a challenging water route, but with the continuous efforts of the operational teams, by noon today, the imported electricity from Uzbekistan will return to normal.
Three days ago, the flow of electricity imported from Uzbekistan was halted due to the cutting of one of the transmission lines near the Amu River, causing widespread disruptions in energy supply to several central and northern provinces of Afghanistan. According to Breshna officials, with the completion of the reconstruction work by noon today, the national electricity grid will return to normal and the distribution process in Kabul and neighboring provinces will resume.
