Jill Bertrand, the EU Special Representative for Afghanistan, announced on Saturday (November 24) on his X (formerly Twitter) account, the completion of an important diplomatic consultation round regarding the situation in Afghanistan.
Bertrand wrote that intensive and constructive consultations have taken place between the EU and Central Asia regarding Afghanistan. These consultations are carried out within the framework of global community efforts to manage the Afghan crisis and reduce its impacts on the region.
This European official further emphasized the importance of regional and bilateral cooperation and added: our cooperation with Central Asia, both as a region and in a bilateral manner, is key to supporting the people of Afghanistan and regional stability.
