The political deputy of the Taliban Prime Minister recently held discussions with Iran’s ambassador and special representative for Afghanistan.

During the meeting, Kabir conveyed condolences for the recent explosion in Kerman, Iran, and reassured that Afghanistan poses no threat to any nation, including Iran. He highlighted the Taliban’s commitment to playing a positive role in enhancing regional security and stability.

Notably, the meeting occurred in the aftermath of two significant explosions in Kerman province during the anniversary ceremony of General Soleimani, resulting in the loss of 91 lives, including 14 Afghan nationals. The responsibility for these attacks was claimed by the ISIS terrorist group.
