In response to the continued closure of schools for girls above the sixth grade, Human Rights Watch called the future of Afghanistan bleak.

By publishing a video on its Twitter page, this institution wrote that Afghanistan is the only country in the world where girls are prohibited from going to school.

Meanwhile, for the second year in a row, the Taliban have banned girls above the sixth grade and female students from attending school and university.
