Head of Ministry of Justice: We Will Sanction Europe and America in the Future

In response to the recent sanctions imposed by the European Union, including himself, during a meeting at Kabul University, the Head of the Ministry of Justice stated that the time will come when this group will impose sanctions against others.

Abdul Hakeem Sharai described the ruling regime in Afghanistan as “strong and unparalleled,” adding that if this system stands, it stands from within.

“If you and we come to an agreement and stand alongside this regime, I assure you that the day will come when we will impose sanctions against them if today they are sanctioning us,” Sharai further added.

This comes as the United States and the European Union have recently announced new sanctions on some Taliban officials.
