In his speech on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani emphasized that it is not possible to take Afghanistan by rocket and if the Taliban want power, they must become the “king of hearts”!

Ashraf Ghani refers to rocket attacks during the Eid prayers near the presidential palace, which did not cause any casualties. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but blames the Taliban government.

The President of Afghanistan stated: The message of the Taliban is only a message of death and darkness. Addressing this group, he said, “What positive message do you have for the people?”

Referring to the destruction of city facilities by the Taliban, he added: “The Taliban do not want to see the development of Afghanistan.”

Referring to the recent peace meeting in Qatar, the president said in part that the Taliban had no will or intention for peace.

He noted the release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners for the start of peace talks, and said that the group was not yet ready for serious talks.

Ashraf Ghani called the release of Taliban prisoners a “big mistake” and said that foreigners were to blame for this, and that before releasing them, he had informed the foreigners if the bad consequences.

According to Ashraf Ghani, the released Taliban prisoners have returned to the war. He referred to Anas Haqqani and Mali Khan and said that these people are currently managing the Taliban war.

He also emphasised the rising tensions if the war and the fall of the cities and said that an urgent plan has been taken to change the situation.

The president added that the current war is not only to protect the system, but also to protect the lives of the people and the territorial integrity of the country.
