Afghanistan’s Integration into the International Community Emphasized by China

The spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that diplomatic recognition of the Taliban is contingent on addressing concerns effectively.

In response to queries about China’s official recognition of the Afghan Taliban, Wang Wenbin, the spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, conveyed in a press conference: China has consistently maintained that Afghanistan should remain an integral part of the international community.

He further stated: We aspire to see Afghanistan align more closely with international expectations, establish an open and inclusive political framework, and implement moderate and stable domestic and foreign policies.
