Violence Against Afghanistan Women and Children Sharply Intensified

In Afghanistan poor families the violence against Afghanistan women and children has been intensifies, stated by an official.

The violence against Afghanistan women and children has been sharply and seriously increased, especially against poor families, in comparison to other countries, stated by Sima Samar the Minister of women’s Affairs of Afghanistan stated in the three-days conference held on women and children rights.

The Minister asked the government to provide welfare services to poor the families, considering it as a significant way for decreasing this violence.

The deputy attorney general Noor Habib Jalal also said that women rights activists with courage and moderation are working in the country to defend the rights of citizens specially of women and children.
