Deep Condolences Following the Medina Tragedy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban government conveyed its condolences on Tuesday to the families of those killed and injured in the traffic accident involving Indian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesperson for the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated on his X page that the Ministry expresses its profound sorrow regarding the traffic accident in Medina, where approximately 42 Indian Umrah pilgrims lost their lives, and many others were injured.

Condolences to the Indian Government and Well Wishes

The fatal incident occurred along the highway between Mecca and Medina, resulting in the loss of 45 Indian pilgrims.

In his message, the spokesperson expressed his sympathy toward the Indian government and the families of the victims, stating: “We extend our condolences to the Indian government and the families of those affected by this tragedy, we pray for the swift recovery of the injured, and we ask the Almighty to grant the martyrs the highest ranks in paradise.”
