Ariana News Agency: A security source has revealed that Khalizad has made a behind the scenes agreement with the Taliban to close the US case in the Criminal Court.

Robert Ryan, a CIA operative who has served in Afghanistan for many years, said in an interview at Club House, in which some of his former comrades also participated, that Khalilzad had agreed with the Taliban to close the US case in the Criminal Court.

He stated that the United States was under a lot of pressure from the Criminal Court, so it tried to take the case out of its normal routine by threatening and sanctioning its members and continuing the war in Afghanistan.

According to him, the escalation of the war in Afghanistan is in the interests of the United States and one of the goals of the White House is to divert the international community, the Afghan public and the Criminal Court from their crimes in Afghanistan, which has been largely successful.

In 2020, in addition to the International Criminal Court, the United States also imposed sanctions on the head of the International Criminal Court, Fabio Mochuko. “We will not tolerate the illegitimate efforts of the International Criminal Court to prosecute the Americans,” the then Secretary of State said in response to the Criminal Court’s investigation into the US war crimes situation in Afghanistan.

Last year, the prosecutor decided to launch an investigation into the role of US troops in Afghanistan and the commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Numerous cases of American crimes such as mutilating the bodies of civilians and taking souvenir photos with them, creating secret prisons and attacking weddings, using inhumane interrogation methods such as artificial drowning, etc. have been filed in the court.
