Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, the political deputy of the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has voiced concerns over the violation of Afghan airspace by American drones.
Stanekzai stated that the Taliban officials are determined to put an end to the ongoing violations of Afghan airspace. He emphasized that this issue has been raised repeatedly during negotiations with American representatives.
Furthermore, he noted that according to the Doha Agreement, after the complete withdrawal of American forces, the United States is expected to establish friendly relations with the Taliban, actively participate in Afghanistan’s reconstruction efforts, encourage other nations to do the same, and refrain from interfering in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.
