The governor of Baghlan province claimed that the attack carried out on his province was planned by Pakistan security forces (ISI).

The Governor of northern Baghlan province Ahmand Fareed Basim condemned the attack carried out over Baghlani security forces and said that the attack to his province was planned and carried out by Pakistan Security agency (ISI).

A day after the attack in a news conference, the governor warned the Pakistani forces and said they should expect retaliation from Afghani forces.

According to statistics given by Mr. Basim, in this attack more than 18 Afghan police forces were dead and around 50 others including civilians were injured.

On Sunday, 15th of May, a number of attackers equipped with weapons and suicide vests blew up a Humvee full of explosion materials in front of the Baghlan police headquarter and exchange bullets for hours.

The Afghanistan Interior Ministry also announced the number of gunmen were eight and the death tolls were 13  and 55 others injured including 35 security forces.

But according to an anonymous source the number of  security forces toll were 21 and 66 injured including 14 women and 4 children who moved to the hospital.

The Taliban terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
