Pakistan Urges Action Against TTP in Afghanistan

Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar of Pakistan has formally requested the caretaker government of Afghanistan to extradite Pakistani citizens residing in Afghanistan, known for their involvement in terrorist attacks within Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference, Kakar further called on the Afghan caretaker government to employ all available measures to quell the activities of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Afghan soil.

In response to allegations of increased terrorist attacks in Pakistan following the Taliban’s assumption of power, a spokesperson for the Taliban refuted the connection, asserting that Pakistan’s internal issues are unrelated to Afghanistan.
