Ariana News Agency: Al-Qaeda still has the largest share of the Taliban’s funding and weapons.
Sajid Ahmad, a senior al-Qaeda member in Afghanistan, told a secret meeting of the group in Faryab: “Al-Qaeda still has the largest share in financing and arming the Taliban, and al-Qaeda commanders and infantry are fighting the enemy alongside their Taliban brothers.”
“The United States is aware of this, but at the moment it does not oppose it in order to prevent the Taliban from weakening on the battlefield,” he said, referring to Tahir Yoldash, a leader of al-Qaeda-linked Uzbek terrorists.
In other news, the Taliban’s agreement with al-Qaeda was a cover-up so that the Americans could legitimize their withdrawal, and they seek to manage insecurity, and al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and even ISIS are the tools of this conspiracy.
