بایدن 550x295 - Balkhi: Biden's confession denies the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan

In response to US President Joe Biden’s statement, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, said that Al-Qaeda is not active in Afghanistan; these words refute the claim about the presence and activity of more than twenty armed groups in Afghanistan.

“We consider remarks by US President Joe Biden about the non-existence of armed groups in Afghanistan as acknowledgement of reality.

We also declare that these statements contradict the findings of the latest United Nations Sanctions Monitoring Team report, which concluded that more than 20 armed groups are present and active in Afghanistan,” Balkhi tweeted.

Balkhi clarified: Taliban maintains this policy that does not allow anyone to use Afghan soil to harm others. Our actions in this regard are not due to the request or support of anyone, including the United States.
