The World Health Organization has issued a cautionary statement highlighting the health risks faced by Afghan immigrants returning from Pakistan.
According to a report released by the World Health Organization in Afghanistan, despite ongoing efforts to provide health and medical services to migrants returning from Pakistan, these individuals remain susceptible to various diseases and confront challenges such as a shortage of water and health services.
The report reveals that since Pakistan’s decision to deport illegal Afghan immigrants until November 18, approximately 375,000 Afghan immigrants have repatriated to Afghanistan, with 48 percent of them being women.
