The commissioner responsible for the “Cult starvation” case in Kenya announced they found new bodies during the search.
The case commissioner, Rhoda Onyancha, said in a statement that they found new bodies during the search. The number of bodies found in the scope of the investigation of the killing of members of the “Cult starvation” in Kenya has increased to 403.
According to TRT, while 95 people from this cult were saved during the operation, 37 people, including Joyce Muykemba, the wife of Paul McKenzie, the cult leader, were arrested in connection with the mass killing.
It is said that the investigation has focused on Paul McKenzie, the pastor associated with the international church. He ordered the church’s followers to starve, promising them they would meet Jesus, leading to the unfortunate deaths of many cult members.
