The former Pakistani prime minister says his country’s leadership has surrendered to US demands for the past 40 years and has done whatever the US wants.
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has said the United States had threatened him with “consequences” if he did not step down.
Imran Khan failed to win a vote of confidence in April. “For the past 40 years, our leadership has surrendered to everything the United States has asked of us,” he told the Times.
The former Pakistani prime minister accused Washington of “imperialist arrogance” and interfering in his country’s internal affairs.
