Hamas Leader Likens “Sadiyeh Timan” Detention Center to Guantanamo

One of the leaders of the Hamas movement has described the “Sadiyeh Timan” detention center as the Guantanamo of the occupying regime, alleging it is a site where organized and heinous crimes and torture are perpetrated against detainees from the Gaza Strip.

According to the Shahab Palestinian news agency, Ezzat al-Rashq announced that various forms of torture in this detention center and others operated by Israel are carried out against Palestinian detainees with the full support and supervision of the fascist government of the Zionist regime.

He further said that the difference between the resistance’s treatment of its captives and the occupying regime’s treatment of Palestinian prisoners is stark, likening it to the difference between the honorable behavior of freedom fighters and the disgraceful crimes of human-like savages.

Al-Rashq stated that horrible crimes against the Palestinian nation are being committed in broad daylight in front of the international community, which has remained silent. He emphasized the need for everyone to fulfill their historical responsibility to stop these crimes and prosecute their perpetrators.
