China: the US plunders the wealth of the Syrian people

In his daily press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Zhao Li Jian, condemned the US military’s actions in Syria. He stated: that with the coercive measures of the US and its allies against Syria, Washington is openly looting the resources and wealth of the Syrian people.

Asked about US actions in stealing Syrian oil, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said: “Washington is plundering Syria’s national resources and has openly seized the wealth of the Syrian people, which has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in that country.”

Zhao Li Jian added: “The Syrian people are suffering from the plunder of the country’s wealth by the United States and the imposition of oppressive economic sanctions on Washington.”
