20 Human Rights Organizations Condemn Invasion of Rafah

A coalition of 20 prominent human rights organizations has issued a statement condemning the failure of world leaders to address Israel’s ongoing attack on Rafah, which is exacerbating the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.

The statement emphasized that third countries have a responsibility to act immediately to end the war in Gaza and pursue accountability for the gross human rights violations occurring there.

These violations include the Israeli army’s orders for evacuation and the disruption of humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza. The human rights groups highlighted that these actions violate several UN Security Council resolutions and orders from the International Court of Justice.
