He called on domestic media to be resolute and committed to publishing facts and urged them to expose Israel’s crimes in Gaza and Lebanon. He emphasized that the Islamic world shares common interests and a collective mission, making it essential for Afghan media to fulfill their Islamic duty in disseminating these facts. Haqmal also underscored the need to strengthen media activities that align with Taliban cultural values, suggesting that Afghanistan’s media should expand its influence globally to counter opposition media narratives. He noted that efforts are being made to address financial challenges facing the media sector. Addressing rumors about potential restrictions on video media in Afghanistan, Haqmal dismissed these as false.
