Vice President’s Suggestion to Get out of Current Election Crisis

Sarwar Danish acknowledged that paying respect to the decisions made by Transparent Election Foundation of Afghanistan is the only way which will lead the country out of the crisis.

During the Commemoration of the 8^th anniversary of Abdulmotaleb Beyk’s death, a former Wolesi Jirga member, Afghanistan Vise President Sarwar Danish suggested that the legal acceptance of election commission decisions is the only way to get the country out of the current election crisis, asking candidates to let election affairs continue along legal channels.

“We should pay respect to the decisions made by the election entities and let them legally take their due measures”, said sarwar Danish.

He also stated: “I hope all parties involved in the election come to rational thinking and in the first place pay respect to constitution and the national interest, and let the process solved through legal procedure”.

After the announcing the Afghanistan presidential election results by the Transparent Election Foundation of Afghanistan (TEFA), some candidates considered the results as fraudulent by Ashraf Ghani’s campaign and criticized the foundation for its non-clarified announcement of the results.

As reported, currently more 16 thousand election complaints are delivered to the Election Foundation.
