Maulvi Mohammad Yaqoub “Mujahid,” the Acting Minister of National Defense, stated that the ministry’s forces will decisively protect the country’s security and sovereignty. Describing the Taliban’s commando forces as a “strong and invincible fortress” against both domestic and foreign threats, Mujahid emphasized that these forces are equipped with modern technology and specialized training. He further asserted that they are prepared to defend the nation against any challenges that jeopardize its security or independence.
