In an official statement, the Ministry of Education refuted claims that it had authorized the reopening of 47 private schools for girls above the sixth grade. The statement clarified: “Some circles and media have falsely reported that the Ministry of Education has permitted 47 private schools, which have met the Ministry’s criteria, to resume academic activities for girls above the sixth grade. The Ministry of Education considers such news to be unfounded and far from the truth.”
