Maria Zakharova, during a recent press conference, voiced serious concerns over the escalating tensions between the Taliban regime and the Pakistani government, calling for a political resolution to the ongoing conflict.

She emphasized that Moscow urges both the Taliban and Pakistan to address any existing disagreements solely through political, diplomatic, and peaceful means.

Zakharova pointed out that the current tensions not only pose a significant concern for Russia but for the entire global community as well.

Announcement of Readiness for Mediation

The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson went beyond merely requesting dialogue, announcing her country’s readiness to take an active role in mediating the situation.
