OCHA Alarmed by Taliban Interference in Humanitarian Aid The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported 173 incidents of interference in humanitarian operations during September, with the Taliban responsible for 98 percent of these cases. In its latest report, OCHA revealed that these incidents represent a 31% increase from the previous month and a staggering 66% rise compared to the same period last year. As a result of the Taliban’s actions, 83 aid projects were temporarily halted, two relief centers were blocked, and one project was forcibly relocated.
