He emphasized that Afghan women and girls have been almost entirely excluded from public life. These comments follow a joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, and Canada, condemning severe and systematic human rights violations, particularly gender-based discrimination against Afghan women. The ministers warned the Taliban of potential legal prosecution.
