The International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced that it has created employment opportunities for 2,482 individuals in Afghanistan from the beginning of this year until September. In a statement published on its Facebook page, the organization reported supporting the employment of 2,067 people during this period. The statement further noted that an additional 2,226 individuals have been enrolled in training courses facilitated by the organization. Additionally, over the past nine months, the IOM has extended support to 238 Afghan-owned businesses, benefitting 128 men and the remainder women.
