10,000 Rupee Reward in Punjab

In the wake of recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan and the continuous accusations from officials in this country regarding the involvement of Afghan residents in these incidents, strict measures against Afghan migrants in various provinces of Pakistan have been intensified.
According to reports from Pakistani News 24, the police in Punjab have set a cash reward for information regarding Afghan migrants. Under this program, anyone who provides information about undocumented migrants will receive a reward of 10,000 Pakistani rupees.

Warning to Homeowners in Islamabad

Alongside these measures, several Afghan refugees in Pakistan are stating that the police in the capital city have also launched new actions. The Islamabad police have warned homeowners that they must evict undocumented refugees and migrants from their homes. This situation has heightened fear and concern among the large Afghan migrant community in Pakistan.

Identification of the Perpetrator of the Deadly Attack by the Government of Pakistan

These actions come after a bloody attack occurred on Tuesday outside a courthouse in Islamabad, resulting in the deaths of 12 people and wounding 27 others. A faction of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for this attack.
The government of Pakistan, in a statement, identified the attacker as Qari Usman Arif, a resident of Nangarhar province. The statement claimed that this group was systematically receiving guidance from their leaders inside Afghanistan during the execution of the attack.
Pakistan added that the group of attackers is in custody but refrained from announcing their detention location. Investigations into this attack are ongoing, and further details and new arrests are expected to be revealed in this regard.
Meanwhile, the Taliban government in Afghanistan has yet to take any official stance regarding Pakistan’s claim of organizing and guiding this attack from within Afghan territory.
