According to the Afghanistan Freedom Front, these clashes took place in the Zebak district of Badakhshan province, resulting in five Taliban members killed and 11 others injured. The Front reported that on Monday, August 14, the Taliban’s attack on their positions was met with resistance from Freedom Front forces, who successfully repelled the assault.
