According to the Afghanistan Freedom Front, the confrontations took place in the Zebak district of Badakhshan province, resulting in the deaths of five Taliban members and injuries to 11 others. The Front stated that on Monday, August 14, a Taliban assault on their positions was met with resistance, and they successfully repelled the attack.
