The oldest Guantanamo prisoner, a Pakistani citizen, was released after 17 years

Saifullah Paracha, a Pakistani citizen, imprisoned in the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba for 17 years, was finally released as the oldest prisoner.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan issued a statement and announced: “Saifullah Pracha, a 74-year-old Pakistani citizen, was released from Guantanamo and joined his family in Pakistan.”
