Pakistan Serena Hotel Secured for bin Salman Visit by Western Security Specialists

The Serena hotel and some sections of Marriott hotel based in Islamabad are being reserved for bin Salman visit and highly secured.

These days, Mohammed bin Salman’s trip to Pakistan goes viral in the Pakistan media and some political parties have expressed their opposition with this trip.

The Pakistan media reported that the Saudi Arabia’s Embassy has reserved the Serena hotel and some sections of Marriott hotel for two weeks and provided is security deploying a security team from the west, in case of any bomb or suicide attach may be carried out by Taliban groups in Pakistan or India-affiliated Baluch separatists.

The Saudi Crown Prince and his entourage is due to pay a visit to Pakistan for strengthening Saudi Arabia-Pakistan bilateral relations on 14 to 18 February.

Some Pakistani politicians reacted to the due trip and expressed their disappointment.

Mufti Gulzar Ahmed Naeemi the head of ‘Jamaat Ahle Haram’ stated that the foreigners’ interference, however for investments endangers our nation’s security.

Naeemi said: “The interference of some foreign nations in our country has intensified the religious divisions. Saudi Arabia’s plan to invest in Pakistan may lead us to a new tumult and increase tensions in the country.”

“bin Salman’s exact intention has to be clearly determined, whether he is only intended to invest and boost bilateral relations or a potential trick is behind the trip”, Naeemi also added.
