Ariana News Agency-

According to a reliable source form US embassy to Kabul the reports of Afghanistan peace talks process show that while Pakistan tries to support khalilzad but the its Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is concern about the future of Afghanistan and any results the peace talks may have, so they are on alert for anything undesirable that may happen.

To survive its economy, Pakistan has no other way but to rely on the Arab’s promises for financial supports.

On the other hand, Pakistan plays a back stage role to facilitate the talks. Its authorities are trying to have a cross-sectional accompaniment with Khalilzad, indeed to smooth path to unify those dissatisfied members of Taliban and enter them into a war with Afghanistan under a new name, in case of any disagreement in peace talks incompatible with their desires.

Pakistanis believe that the Taliban delegates will finally reach an agreement with Khalizad and they will take positions in Afghanistan, but ISI will use those who are dissatisfied with talk’s results to organize a new force in order to continue the clashes with Afghanistan government after US forces withdrawal.

What Zalmay Khalizad is actually focused on is Trump’s next presidential campaign and he is trying to achieve is a satisfactory result in Afghanistan war. To do so, he may take a hasty action to bring a impermanent peace in Afghanistan as an excuse for withdrawing US forces for the country, but this action will actually prolong the war between the afghans.

While Pakistan authorities are formulating a strategic plan to have a play for any undesirable results in the peace talks.
