ذبیح الله مجاهد 550x295 - Zabihullah Mujahid: Opposition to the Taliban is suppressed

Ariana News Agency: Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated as human rights activists raised concerns about the disappearance of several women protesters in Kabul.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the Taliban had the right to imprison and suppress protesters and their opponents.

Since the Taliban returned to power, the Taliban government has violently dispersed peaceful rallies of women, beaten some Afghan journalists, and detained critics.

The Taliban, meanwhile, have been sanctioned by the United States and the international community for imposing restrictions on women and girls.
The imposition of these sanctions has posed a serious challenge to the people of Afghanistan.
