Zabihullah Mujahid: Kabul is ready to mediate between Islamabad government and TTP

Zabihullah Mujahid said that Kabul is ready to mediate between the government of Islamabad and TTP because it does not want to have a conflict in the region.

If Islamabad wants, the Taliban will mediate in the negotiations between Pakistan and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said.

Mujahid stated: “If the Pakistani government wants us to mediate and we know that our mediation is effective, we will undoubtedly do so because we want no conflict in the region.”

Regarding the presence of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in Afghanistan, Mujahid said that this group does not exist in Afghanistan and we will not allow it to operate on our lands.

He also added: We do not have any contact with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan to provide their expenses or help them. On the contrary, we do not allow them to have any activity in Afghanistan.
