We will not negotiate despite sanctions, Bilal Karimi says

The Deputy Spokesperson of the Taliban said that if the world wants to engage with the Taliban, it should end all sanctions.
Bilal Karimi called the international community’s sanctions on the Taliban unjustified.

“Intensifying pressure and sanctions will increase the distance between Afghanistan and the international community, and this issue is not in anyone’s interest,” Karimi added.

Karimi also described the continuation of sanctions on the travel of the leaders of this group as cruel and unfair and empathized: “We can solve problems when we have commuting, dialogue, and exchange of ideas.”

Although nearly two years have passed since the Taliban’s rule, no country has yet recognized the government of this group.
