The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) says the country faces severe starvation due to the long wars in Afghanistan.
The agency says that due to war, climate change, and economic problems, people starving in various countries have reached 193 million.
The UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Afghanistan also announced that the number of hungry people in Afghanistan had risen from 14 million in January 2021 to 23 million in March 2022.
An entire generation of Afghan citizens is at risk, the agency said.
