The United Nations Assistance Mission in Kabul (UNAMA) says Afghan journalists are determined to face several challenges, despite shocking accounts of the problems.
“Any attempt to restrict free media in Afghanistan should be stopped,” UNAMA Deputy Director Dr Mode Nodson told TV One in Kabul.
The UN Mission in Afghanistan has called on the international community to remain steadfast in its support for the Afghan media.
The Taliban have imposed unprecedented restrictions on the media since taking control of Afghanistan.
