The United Nations International Children’s Education Fund (UNICEF) has released new statistics on recent bombings, saying at least 50 girls and boys have been killed in the past week.
More than 50 girls and boys have died in Afghanistan in the past week, UNICEF Regional Director George Laria Idaji wrote on Twitter.
He also said that this figure is likely to increase.
The UNICEF official stressed that violence against children in all its forms must be stopped immediately.
