UNICEF: One out of every five children in Afghanistan is working

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Afghanistan says that one out of every five children is working.

Regardless of any cause, the goal of this institution is to end child labor in all forms, UNICEF wrote in a tweet.

According to UNICEF, the reason for child labor in Afghanistan is migration, separation from family, injuries caused by unexploded ammunition and dropping out of school.

Earlier, the World Food Program said that the organization is raising awareness about ending child labor in Afghanistan and worldwide.
