UN Security Council Condemns Baghlan Suicide Attack

The United Nations Security Council has strongly condemned the ISIS terrorist attack that occurred at the Imam Zaman Mosque in Pul Khomri city.

The council emphasized that terrorism represents one of the most grave threats to global peace and security.

In their statement, the Security Council stressed the necessity of holding accountable those responsible for planning, organizing, and financing acts of terrorism, and ensuring their prosecution.

Furthermore, the Council reaffirmed that any act of terrorism, regardless of when, where, or by whom it is committed, constitutes an unjustifiable crime.

Additionally, the Security Council underscored the importance of all nations taking action against acts of terrorism in compliance with the United Nations Charter and other relevant international laws.
