The United Nations is concerned about the undermining of women’s rights in Afghanistan

Ariana News Agency: The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations has stated that Afghan women and girls have faced a decline in their rights since August 2021.

Deborah Lions, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, stated that women’s rights in Afghanistan have declined further since 15 August 2021.

UNAMA expressed concern over the killing, enforced disappearance, and use of violence against members of the former security forces and called for an investigation.
