The inflation rate in Afghanistan dropped

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban, called the decrease in the inflation rate in the country a positive result of the economic struggle of the Taliban government and said: “Research shows that the inflation rate in Afghanistan has dropped by -1 per cent.”

“The price of goods in Afghanistan is lower than many developed and under-developed countries,” Mujahid added.

The Central Bank of Afghanistan also welcomed the announcement of the global statistics on the inflation rate in Afghanistan. The Central Bank also stated: “We controlled the inflation in Afghanistan with appropriate monetary policies.”
